After using Prometheus Optima Mini humidifier for two years or longer, the humidification foam will not absorb distilled water as effectively as when it was new. If this happens, you can purchase the humidification foam separately. This feature allows you to use the Optima Mini for many years to come. It is not a disposable product but Eco-friendly.
